Practising handstands today with different drills β€” challenging, strengthening, and deeply humbling all at once. Master Mukul was very creative in changing the drills in each class. Still learning to conquer the fear of walking backwards on the hands, even with the support of the wall. But every attempt builds a little more courage, control, and trust in the body. The freestanding handstand remains the goal β€” and with consistent effort, patience, and practice, it will comeπŸ™Œ

Excellent timing to have hip opening practise this morning after the intensity of Zumba dance the night before. After intense aerobics, hip opening exercises feel less like stretching… and more like giving the body permission to soften again. Thanks to Master Raj, the tight muscles in the hamstring and quads are released. Hip opening exercises feel so necessary if we realised how much tension, impact, and emotion the hips quietly carry.

I played Pickleball in the morning, and joined Master Mukul’s yoga therapy in the evening β€” the perfect balance between intensity and recovery. Today’s practice gently reached into the hamstrings, lower back, shoulders, glutes, and hip flexors… releasing the tension the body had been carrying all day. His practice was unhurried, gentle, and deeply restorative β€” and my muscles are quietly thanking me now πŸ™ŒπŸ§˜πŸ»

I enjoyed the handstand practice with Master Mukul β€” a session thoughtfully built through well-prepared drills that strengthened both the body and the mind. Each progression helped build confidence steadily, leading us to the final kick-up to the wall for the handstand. A practice that reminded us that strength grows beautifully with patience and consistency.

My favourite class has to be Mukul’s Good Morning yoga! I'm impressed by his sequencing flow that brings the class very unique, i never experience elsewhere. A complete flow that balanced with stretching, twist and bend, layered with strength, endurance and even upside-down. Truly morning awakening to the body and mind.

Today’s headstand-to-pincha transitions reminded me how much control lives in the smallest movements. One sequence. It was challenging, humbling, and deeply rewarding. Thankful for great guidance and drills by Master Sudhu to have strength in the shoulders, stability in the core and calm in the mind
