S A Judo Academy

SA Judo Academy, or Shun An Judo Academy, was founded by South East Asian Games gold medallist Mr Tang Soon Onn in 2003. Since then, we have grown to become the most established Judo club in Singapore, with 4 main branches across the country. The quality of training is our top priority. The Academy has amassed a team of passionate coaches who each have at least 10 years in the field of competitive Judo and coaching. We take pride in our Japanese-style pedagogy that retains the core values and principles of the martial art, which one should embody on and off the mats. With a strong belief in the spiritual and physical benefits of Judo, we at the Academy find purpose in sharing and promoting the sport to all Singaporeans, as well as contributing to the local Judo community. In fact, our club has nurtured many players who represented the country in overseas competitions.
